Spring 2022 Newsletter

Happy Spring from Sunday River!

The 2021/2022 ski season has come to a close and the last bits of snow are vanishing from the trails. After a tremendous winter, we are looking forward to the warmer months ahead.

The fun doesn’t stop as the snow melts, Sunday River and the Bethel area offer year-round enjoyment for visitors. Whether it’s golfing at the scenic Sunday River Golf Club, a hike in Grafton Notch, tubing down the Androscoggin River, or taking a scenic gondola ride there are many outdoor activities that make the Western mountains of Maine the perfect place for a summer getaway.

We are excited to bring you the 2022 Spring Owners Newsletter with updates about the hotels and resort activities and ideas for exploring your winter happy place in the summer.

Thank you for your continued support of Sunday River and the Jordan Hotel! We hope to see you soon.

Good Eats Spotlight

Le Mu Eats: If you’re in the area this summer be sure to check out the beautiful blue shanty on Main St. There you will find the home of Le Mu Eats, a local Bethel gem. Serving up a unique take on modern American cuisine and includes a variety of influences including local Maine produce, Southern American comfort foods, South East Asian flavors, and whatever other tastes and techniques they find interesting and want to explore. They offer indoor and outdoor dining, as well as take out service and online-express ordering. Le Mu Eats is a must try!

Our favorite time of day to visit: Sunday brunch! Special treat on Sundays Le Mu Eats offers up a unique Bruch menu that is always worth the visit.

Our favorite menu item: Mu Taco, Who Dis- This creative take on a taco is made with Chinese scallion pancakes, tender and delicious braised pork, chili aioli, and pickled onions. The pork is so tender and pairs so well with the scallion pancakes, and the chili aioli give it a little extra flavor but is not too spicy!

Our favorite thing about the Le Mu Eats: The atmosphere. Whether it is sitting inside and watching the crew cook up delicious food or sitting on the patio and taking in the vibe of Maine St., the atmosphere of Le Mu Eats is welcoming and friendly.
