Greetings from a snowy Sunday River!

We are gearing up and getting ready to kick off a historical winter all across the resort. This season is sure to be unlike any other, as we began the season at the Jordan for the first time ever with two top to bottom trails, tripled snowmaking capacity and double the acreage of any other resort in the east – along with a ski in/out hotel!

We have been busy over the summer and fall months conducting preventative maintenance on your rooms, completing several capital improvement projects and enjoying all the sunnier months had to offer.

We are excited to bring you the 2023-2024 Winter Owners Newsletter with updates about the resort, hotel and how our winter is shaping up.

RENOVATIONS

Renovations are in full swing at the Jordan Hotel! The lobby is in the process of a full transformation – we can’t wait to see the finished product! Keep an eye on the Renovations Updates page for weekly updates on our progress.

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS & UPGRADES

Pool Fence & Signage Upgrades

Newly installed posts and fence around the pool, inspired by David Puelle’s hotel branding work.

Water

Water filtration system has been installed to improve the water quality at the hotel.  We have also used the Sunday River partnership with HKD Snowmaking to install a state of art monitoring system.

Bulk Amenity Installation

Bulk amenities (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) have been installed in all guest room showers!

Bulk amenity installation is another step in the Sunday River 2030 plan to become more sustainable. Bulk amenities help by reducing the use of plastic, which means less plastic in our landfills and beyond. According to some environmental advocates, nearly 33 million pounds of plastic waste wash into the world’s ocean each year.

Greg Perry – Hotel General Manager

Many of you may know Greg Perry as the go-to guy at the Jordan Front Desk. This summer, Greg was selected to lead the Jordan Hotel team as the Hotel General Manager. Greg has built his career around his passion for skiing and golf, and has been serving our guests at Sunday River for over 35 years. He looks forward to welcoming you back to your Happy Place this winter!

Deep Cleans

We have completed our annual process of deep cleaning all of the rooms in the hotel and our maintenance and housekeeping teams will be doing a thorough, top to bottom, inspection of each room.

If you have any specific items you would like addressed please complete our Maintenance Request Form.

Mug Club

The Sliders Mug Club is exclusive to Jordan Owners only. You receive a 20oz Mug and will receive mug club specials throughout the winter including a free appetizer of your choice at the time of purchase. The cost of the mug club is $45.00 for the year November 1 to October 31. Stop by the bar at Sliders to sign up! Please contact Owner Services with any questions.

OWNER REMINDERS

ONLINE! Association Dues & Property Tax Statements

We are pleased to announce that you can now access your association dues and property tax statements online! To get started, please fill out the Log In Request Form and Owner Services will send an invitation for you to connect. Once your log in has been created, you can find a quick ‘how-to’ on the Owner’s Webpage. Stay tuned for more exciting updates…

Calendar Updates & Winter Reservations

Thank you for completing your yearly Owner Calendar updates! Now that the calendar deadline has come and gone, reservation requests for dates during the winter ’23-’24 season will need to be submitted via email or booked online via the Owner Portal. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but many winter weeks are now fully booked!

Contact Information Update

Have you moved recently, changed your phone number, or using a different email address? Be sure we have your most up-to-date contact information and fill out the contact information update form. We don’t want you missing out on our exciting updates as well as rental statements and rental income checks. Update your contact information here.

Tax Time

As we near the Holiday Season, before we know it tax season will be upon us! Please make sure we have your updated W9 information so we may send out accurate documents for your tax purposes.

Applying Rental Income to Dues

Did you know you can have your rental income applied directly to your dues account? To sign up, please fill out and return the assignment of rental income form and return to Owner Services.

Direct Deposit

To sign up please fill out and return the direct deposit paper work including a voided check to Owner Services. Direct deposit paperwork can also be found on the HOA Documents page.

International H2B Workers Return

We are happy to welcome new and returning international H2B workers in both housekeeping and front desk! They look forward to meeting you and welcoming you back over the upcoming months!

Someday Bigger Daycare

Someday Bigger Daycare is open for guests and owners on Saturdays and Sundays from December 2 through March 31.

Someday Bigger Daycare is here to help kids ages six weeks to six years find their happy place so you can be out finding yours. We are located just up the road from South Ridge Lodge across from the ski school area with a convenient drop-off right at our facility. We are a fully licensed childcare facility through the State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services. 

Reservations are required and can be made online. Reservations must be booked at least 24 hours prior to arrival. We suggest booking early as space is limited.
