The Jordan Quarter-Share Awareness Project
During the meeting we shared an update about the new Jordan Quarter-Share Awareness Project. Led by Evan Hackel, Jordan Board Member, and in partnership with Bonfire Collective, a marketing agency, the Awareness Project will help us better showcase the benefits of ownership at The Jordan.
The goal is to build awareness of the quarter-share ownership experience at the Jordan and introduce more people to the opportunity to enjoy the mountain, the amenities, and the convenience of having a place of their own at Sunday River.
You’ll soon see the project come to life throughout the resort, including videos in hotel common spaces and guest rooms, as well as on the Jordan 8 big screen. We’re also developing marketing materials and an easy-to-share email template that owners can use to introduce friends, family, and prospective owners to the benefits of Jordan ownership.
We invite you to watch Erik Lambert, owner of Bonfire Collective, share more about the project and how we’re working together to spread the word about the Jordan ownership experience. Watch Erik’s Video
As owners, you can play an important role in this effort. Sharing your experiences and helping others discover the benefits of quarter-share ownership is a meaningful way to support the future of The Jordan. We excited to see the Awareness Project come to life this winter!
Jordan Renovation & Model Room Update
There was a great discussion about the Jordan renovation during the Annual Meeting. While the Board is continuing to work through additional details, we wanted to share the current update.
Based on owner feedback and priorities, the scope and budget are being refined to focus on the items owners have identified as the highest priorities, particularly kitchens and bathrooms, while bringing the overall project budget to a more realistic and responsible level.
The Jordan has 186 units, and the scope of the renovation is significant. 136 units have kitchens. All units have bathrooms and there are a total of 205 bathrooms across the property. There are 99 units with Murphy beds in the scope of the renovation. These details help illustrate the scale of the project and why carefully defining the scope, priorities, and budget is so important.
We are continuing work on the next phase of updates at the Jordan, starting with the Model Room. The project team continues to meet weekly and has made great progress over the summer.
We are currently targeting completion of a Model Room in early 2027. The design is being led by Truex Cullins, the same firm behind the lobby and public common areas, and we’ve engaged the same project manager and general contractor following a competitive review process.
While the Model Room timeline is a bit longer than initially expected, the Board is taking a very thoughtful approach, carefully reviewing owner priorities, budget considerations, and project scope. The focus is on delivering a room refresh that aligns with the existing design aesthetic while remaining financially responsible.
Now that the Board has a defined project budget, the next step is to determine the payment structure for owners and what the direct financial impact will be for each owner. More information will be shared as those details are finalized.
Join Us for a Jordan Town Hall
To continue the conversation, we invite you to join us for an upcoming Town Hall focused on the Model Room and the eventual room renovation project. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the plans, ask questions, and better understand the process and next steps.
